Emerging from fragments of memory and myth, Carnival of Dreams opens a space where history dissolves into spectacle and the surreal feels achingly familiar. In Adel Younesi’s paintings, elephants wander through imagined landscapes, Farrah and the Shah linger as luminous apparitions, and human figures drift among creatures and colors that seem both tender and uncanny.

This body of work stages a theatre of the subconscious — a procession of icons and beasts, memory and illusion, reverie and rupture. At Maryam Taba Studios, Younesi’s vision transforms the gallery into a living dream, inviting viewers to step beyond the visible and inhabit a world where the real and the unreal dance in quiet union.
